CACO Golf Tournament

Hello Everyone!

Wanted to bring to your attention that the 2006 Golf pictures are now online for your viewing pleasures. The web address is: www.CACOregon.org

First and foremost, thank you to ALL the volunteers who committed so much time and efforts in preparing the food, drinks, prizes, pictures and all that was involved in organizing a golf tournament. For without you volunteers, it would be extremely difficult to make this event or any events organized by CACO happen. These volunteers believe it or not have dedicated so much time year after year to make events such as this Golf Tournament, Khmer Heritage Night, Annual Community Camping, Cambodian Language Classes, Charity fundraisers, etc., and even paid their way in to events. I’m humbled by their dedication, kindness, and their “think beyond self” mentality. Thank you so much for keeping the fire burning.

Secondly, our sponsor Key Knife who have been generous year after year for this event and other community events. NIKE Asia Pacific Network (Esther Piol and Melanie Lim) for your efforts in getting some donated items for the raffle. Phal Seth of Liberty Mutual (West Linn branch), Lillian Tsai of TSAICOMMS, Sokhom Tauch of IRCO, and Linda West of Quail Valley Golf Course. Without your kind and generous support, it would be difficult for us to do any of our events. With much sincerity and appreciation, thank you.

Last but not least, thank you to all of the participants who came and enjoyed the food, the friendship, and the golf. WE hope to see you again next year and many more years to come. We are not making the millions from the tournament, but the small portion raised from the tournament goes back into the programs that benefit the community and those who take advantage of our program offerings. Your contributions help to allow us to fulfill our mission to Unite, Preserve, and Empower.

If I’ve overlooked in mentioning any names, please forgive me. There were so many hands that made this event possible. Please enjoy the pictures, and thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,

Chanly Bob
