Chanly has been an active member of CACO since 2003. He is currently a Unix System Administrator for Electronic Data Systems, Inc. He also serves as a mentor, offering guidance to youths with an interest in the Information Technology career.

Mony was the former Chairman from 1998 to 2003. He has unselfishly devoted much of his free time volunteering for CACO. He is the Director of Education and has been instrumental in organizing the Cambodian language and cultural classes.

Choeun was President of CACO during the 1998 to 2000 term and is one of the founding fathers. He goes by “Uncle Choeun” and is well known by the community as a kind and gentle hearted person with a passion and commitment to bring the community together.

Sivheng is a key supporting figure and a founder of CACO. She currently works at the Asian Family Center for the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization. Sivheng’s welcoming smile and cheerful attitude are a reflection of her commitment to the community.

Michaels' caring ways and positive attitude make him a trustworthy and highly respected person in the community. During a recent visit to Cambodia with his wife Melanie, they graciously donated medicine, clothing, and built wells in villages.
Chunny Sok Chunny Sok

Chunny has been an active member for many years and has contributed much of her time with events sponsored by CACO, the Dance Troop of Oregon, and feeding the homeless. She is well known for being a talented cook.

Kilong has been an active member of CACO since the early days. Now as president he wants to elevate the Cambodian community through his stong leadership. He is also the founder and president of KU Consulting, a company offering consultation on Microsoft Technology.

Melanie joined CACO in 2003, but has been a community volunteer and dance teacher for many years. She is honored and excited to take on the role of Vice President and share in the responsibility to make our community better.
Chann Noun Chann Noun

Chann was called upon to take on an important role that requires much volunteer work. Being that time is precious, he was cautious and selective in his involvement. He was hesitant until he saw our many volunteers in action to better the community and how much each and everyone of us are having fun doing so. Chann comes to us with many years as a professional Lead Accountant for the Merchants Exchange of Portland, and years of experiences as a non-profit accountant. Bopha enjoys volunteering and is passionate about community involvement. She feels the importance of cultural preservation and is proud of her daughter the nations youngest and top Ping Pong Champion who participated in the 2004 summer Olympics.

Jumnit received his BS and MS in Computer Engineering from Oregon State University. Seeing many younger Cambodians not challenging themselves has sparked his interest in helping promoting higher education to youths in the Cambodian community
