2005 Khmer Language and Culture Class
Another term has ended for the Cambodian Language and Culture Class and our Education Director Mr. Mony Mao is proud of yet another successful year.
The success was due in part to our wonderful and dedicated Volunteer Teachers who year after year took time out of their hectic schedule to teach the Cambodian Language and Culture class.
We would also like to thank the parents and volunteers for allowing their children to partake in the language and culture class. Language and culture is what make all of us unique. Our efforts to preserve our culture and to ensure the future generations do not forget their own language can not be achieved without all of us taking part in this difficult task. And so, thank you for helping us to achieve this goal.
Below are some pictures during the Graduation banquet for the CACO Language and Culture class. The event was held at Columbia Park on June 18th, 2005. Thank you Ms. Ratana Neou, Jumnit Hong, and our Youth Leaders for organizing this event. Of course, thank you to everyone who brought the food, helped cook, clean, and had a great time!
